Graham Murphy (born 19 February 1972) is a record producer, musician and songwriter. He was born in Dublin, Ireland.
Graham started out as a session musician/programmer working with leading Irish acts including Aslan and Whipping Boy. Around the same time he began writing with artist Perry Blake . Perry signed to Polydor Records and Graham was signed by Trevor Horn to his publishing label Perfect Songs. He moved to London to complete Perry's debut album handling most musical duties, string arrangements and programming. On this project he worked with respected UK producer Ross Cullum and arranged with Caroline Dale for the London Metropolitan Orchestra. Upon returning to Dublin he set up The Production Suite with fellow producer and writer Chris O'Brien where they scored their first UK Top 40 hit with "Dont Dream" by Irish act Dove who were subsequently signed to ZTT Records. Graham went on to work with artists such as Clannad, The Blue Nile, The Human League, Gemma Hayes and in 2002 scored an international hit and UK Top 5 as co-writer of the song Bop Bop Baby for multi platinum selling act Westlife. He was later signed to Warner/Chappell Music publishing and worked with artists as diverse as Lucie Silvas, Luan Parle, Samantha Mumba and multi-platinum selling Japanese group W-inds.
Recently he has been working with artists such as Paul Harrington, Lucia Evans, Brian Canavan and emerging female artist Aoife Moriarty and has just had a song "Still Lives" featured in the new Monica Bellucci film L' Uomo Che Ama.
